Acknowledgment of Terms
By accessing or using MoveSmartTN services, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions. Your continued use of our services confirms your agreement to all policies outlined on this page.
Services Provided
MoveSmartTN provides apartment locating services, guidance on property criteria, background check facilitation through TransUnion SmartMove, document checklists, application strategy, and communication support with housing providers.
Service Limitations
MoveSmartTN does not act as a real estate brokerage. We do not sign, negotiate, or enforce leases. We do not guarantee approval, housing placement, or specific unit availability. All housing decisions are made solely by the property or landlord based on their criteria.
Fees & Payments
Service fees cover screening facilitation, document review, guidance, and support. Third‑party fees (such as SmartMove) are paid to external partners and are non‑refundable. Payment is collected when services are rendered or when screening results are delivered.
Refund Policy
Because we invest upfront in your screening process, fees are non‑refundable once results are delivered. Refunds may be approved only in cases of billing errors, duplicate charges, or verified emergencies reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you notice a billing discrepancy, contact us directly so we can investigate and resolve it. Initiating a chargeback for services already rendered (including screening results) is considered a breach of this agreement. Accounts will be suspended, and all applicable fees may be recovered.
Appointment Expectations
Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Repeated missed or late appointments may affect future scheduling availability. Messages received outside business hours will be addressed the next business day.
Client Conduct
We maintain a respectful, safe working environment. Abusive, threatening, or disrespectful behavior toward staff or other clients may result in immediate termination of services.
Document Accuracy & Fraud
Clients must provide accurate, truthful information and authentic documents. Submission of false, altered, or misleading documents results in immediate termination of services without refund and may be reported to properties or appropriate parties as required.
Housing Decisions
MoveSmartTN does not influence or control approval decisions. All decisions regarding applications, eligibility, rental terms, and move‑in dates are made solely by the property or landlord.
Limitation of Liability
MoveSmartTN is not responsible for property decisions, unit availability, rental pricing, or outcomes determined by third‑party partners.
